Nonthaburi: Police have identified the four teenagers responsible for the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old boy at a gas station on the Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road in Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi Province. Authorities are confident that the perpetrators will be apprehended soon.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred when surveillance cameras captured a group of four teenagers arriving at the gas station on two motorcycles. The group attacked another teenager, dragging him to the side of the road where they kicked and stomped on him until he fell to the ground. One of the attackers then used a knife to stab him multiple times, resulting in his death.
Another surveillance camera, positioned opposite the gas station, documented the moment when one of the perpetrators retrieved a knife from a motorcycle basket and stabbed the victim eight times. Despite an attempt by an accomplice to stop him, the group fled the scene on their motorcycles. It was later confirmed that the deceased was Mr. Ice, aged 17, who suffered five stab wounds to the chest.
The victim's mother visited Bang Bua Thong Police Station to complete the necessary paperwork for her son's body to be released for religious rites at Wat Lat Pla Duk. She stated that her son had no known problems with others, though he might have had issues related to women since he was 15. She expressed her wish for the police to swiftly capture the culprits.
Police efforts to resolve the case are ongoing. Pol. Maj. Gen. Kitthanet Thanananthavisin, Commander of the Nonthaburi Provincial Police, attended a meeting to review the case's progress. He confirmed that significant advancements have been made, including identifying the escape route used by the perpetrators. While the motive remains under investigation, he expressed confidence in the imminent capture of those responsible.
