Bangkok: The Prime Minister revealed that she had received a report of the emergency ASEAN meeting on the earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand, thanking Malaysia for organizing the meeting and ASEAN member states for giving encouragement and support to Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, posted that she had received a report from the Minister of Foreign Affairs regarding her participation in the ASEAN Emergency Meeting on the earthquake affecting Myanmar and Thailand.
The Prime Minister expressed her gratitude to Malaysia, as the Chair of ASEAN, for organizing the meeting and acknowledged the support and encouragement from all ASEAN member countries to Thailand. She also noted her satisfaction with ASEAN's commitment to providing urgent humanitarian assistance to Myanmar and has directed relevant Thai agencies to continue offering full support.
