Bangkok: The Prime Minister posted a message about the entertainment complex project, a big opportunity to raise the level of tourism and stimulate the Thai economy.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, shared a message on social media regarding the entertainment complex project. She highlighted it as a significant opportunity to enhance tourism and boost Thailand's economy. The Entertainment Complex Bill draft, which passed the Cabinet today, marks the beginning of a transparent and auditable process. The bill will now proceed to the House for further consideration.
The draft approved by the Cabinet underwent a public hearing process, gathering opinions from over 80,000 people. More than 80% of the participants expressed their support for the draft. The Prime Minister invited citizens to understand the value of this large-scale project, which is valued at over a hundred billion baht. It aims to upgrade the Thai tourism industry and attract both domestic and foreign investment.
The project is anticipated to increase foreign tourist arrivals by 5-10% annually, generating an estimated income of over 12 billion baht per year.
