PM Expresses Condolences Over Narathiwat Bombing, Affirms Continued Operations in Southern Provinces

Narathiwat: The Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the families of two police officers who died in a bombing in Narathiwat, confirming that he will travel to the three southern border provinces tomorrow as originally scheduled.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, posted a message about the incident during the bombing in Narathiwat Province. She stated, "The incident of a car bomb in Narathiwat Province that resulted in the death of a police officer while on duty. I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family of 'Chuay Thewarit'. Both of them have performed their duty as peacekeepers with great sacrifice for the people in the area and for the country."

The incident has prompted the government to urgently focus on solving the problem and bring peace back to the people in the area as soon as possible. The Prime Minister reiterated her commitment to visiting the southern border provinces to support the people and officials working in the region. "Tomorrow, I will travel to the 3 southern border provinces to carry out my duties as scheduled to encourage the people and officials working in the area," she announced.
