Bangkok: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has been honored with the 2025 "Human Rights Model Organization" award, achieving the outstanding level in the state enterprise category. Mr. Montchai Danuphotiboon, Deputy Governor of PEA, accepted the prestigious award at a ceremony held at the Asawin Grand Ballroom, 4th floor, Aswin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
According to Thai News Agency, the 2025 Human Rights Model Organization Award is organized by the Department of Rights and Liberties. The award aims to recognize government organizations, state enterprises, businesses, and civil society groups, including the Citizens' Dispute Resolution Center, that adhere to human rights principles in their operations. These organizations are commended for integrating human rights into their work and setting a positive example for others to follow in fostering a sustainable society that respects human rights.
