Paethongtarn ½ Cabinet Reshuffle: Key Appointments and Stability

Bangkok: The latest cabinet reshuffle under Paethongtarn ½ has been announced, marking significant changes in several ministerial positions. Notably, Bhumtham Vejjayachai has taken on dual roles as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. This reshuffle also sees the appointment of Klatham and Narumon as Education Ministers, while Suchart Tancharoen is named as Labor Minister.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry of Interior now has Bhumtham Vejjayachai as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, supported by two Deputy Ministers, Decha Isam Khaothong and Thirat Samretwanich. The Ministry of Defense is led by General Sunai Prapuchanay, with General Nattapol Nakphanit as Deputy Minister.

In the Prime Minister's Office, Jiraporn Sindhuphrai and Chusak Sirinil continue their roles, with Chakraphong Saengmanee reappearing on the list. The Ministry of Commerce sees Chatuporn Buruspat as Minister, with Tewan Liptapanlop and possibly Suchart Chomklin as Deputy Ministers.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has appointed Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn as Minister, alongside Deputy Minister Akara Prompao. The Ministry of Education appoints Narumon Pinyosinwat as Minister, with Anudit Nakornthap and Chantawit Tanthasit as Deputies.

Somsak Thepsuthin remains Minister of Public Health, joined by Deputy Ministers Chaichana Dechadecho and Anucha Sasomsap. The Ministry of Labor has named Suchart Tancharoen as Minister, with rumors suggesting his potential role as the 1st Deputy Speaker of the House.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation is under Suchart Chomklin, who might continue as Deputy Minister of Commerce. Meanwhile, key ministries such as Transport, Finance, Energy, Digital Economy and Society, Tourism and Sports, Foreign Affairs, Culture, Justice, Natural Resources and Environment, and Social Development and Human Security remain unchanged, ensuring continuity in their respective sectors.
