Bangkok: The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has opened stock accounts for Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra in 12 companies as part of asset management efforts, while Deputy Prime Minister Pirapan Salirathavibhaga and his spouse have a combined total of shares in 10 companies.
According to Thai News Agency, the NACC released a copy of the contract that outlines the management of shares for the Prime Minister and other ministers, effective between February 24, 2025, and March 25, 2025. Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra entered into a contract with Kiatnakin Phatra Co., Ltd. on November 19, 2024. This contract covers shares in 12 companies, including SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited with 1,026,149,870 shares, and P.T. Corporation Co., Ltd. with 111,000,000 shares, among others.
In contrast, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Pirapan Salirathavibhaga has a contract with MFC Asset Management Company Limited (Public Company) dated September 4, 2024, covering shares in four companies. These include VP Aerotech Company Limited with 588,500 shares and P and S Land and Development Company Limited with 46,500 shares.
Furthermore, Mrs. Sunong Salirathavipak, the spouse of Mr. Pirapan, holds shares in six companies. These encompass Chanat and Sons Company Limited with 1,625,670 shares and New Atlantic Company Limited with 43,000 shares, among others.
