MRTA Celebrates 33rd Anniversary with Health-Focused Walk-Run Event

Bangkok: MRTA invites everyone to join the 'Happy 33rd MRTA Anniversary Run' walking and running activity for health on the occasion of MRTA's 33rd anniversary. According to Thai News Agency, the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) is organizing a health walk-run activity 'Happy 33rd MRTA Anniversary Run' on the special occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the MRTA's founding. The activity is organized under the concept of running 33 years MRTA 3+3 with a total distance of 6 kilometers. Participants will run through 3 landmarks as follows: the MRT Maintenance Center, Chaloem Ratchamongkhon Line (MRT Blue Line), the Mass Rapid Transit Learning Center, and the Rail Transportation Safety and Firefighting - Rescue Training Center. The activity will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at MRTA Building 1. In addition, all participants of the walk-run activity who reach the finish line will receive 1 commemorative medal, along with 1 set of food and drink coupons. For those who reach the finish line in 1s t-5th place, they will receive a 500-baht MRT ticket along with special prizes. For those who reach the finish line in 6th-10th place, they will receive a 500-baht MRT ticket.
