Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues Warning for Thai Nationals in Iran and Israel

Bangkok: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement expressing concern over the escalating situation between Israel and Iran, advising Thai nationals to avoid traveling to high-risk areas and to stay updated with announcements from the Thai Embassy.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry urged both Israel and Iran to exercise maximum restraint to prevent harm to innocent civilians. Thailand has conveyed condolences to the families of the deceased, calling on all parties to prioritize the protection of civilians and to manage the situation through peaceful means.

In response to the situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside the Royal Thai Embassies in the region, has initiated the operation of the Rapid Response Center (RRC). This center is tasked with coordinating efforts to assist Thai nationals. The authorities have advised Thai citizens to remain vigilant and to adhere to any warnings and emergency procedures issued by the Royal Thai Embassy. Furthermore, Thai nationals are strongly encouraged to avoid non-essential travel to the affected areas.

For emergencies, Thai citizens are advised to contact the nearest Thai embassy for urgent assistance or to register via the Thai Consular application to receive timely information.
