According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Jiraporn emphasized that the media serves as a refuge for the people during crises, whether it be natural disasters like floods and earthquakes, or geopolitical tensions such as the Thai-Cambodian border situation. She underscored the role of the media in preventing the spread of fake news to reduce social panic, highlighting its importance as a refuge for Thai society in both normal and crisis situations.
