According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Col. Jessada Suaysom, Commander of Metropolitan Police Division 2, disclosed progress over the phone regarding the death of Pol. Col. Thitisan Uthanaphon, known as Superintendent Joe. He mentioned that although no meetings were held today, the interrogation process had commenced a month ago. Investigators have been actively summoning relevant individuals for questioning and have ordered the process to be expedited, with reports required at every stage. In the event of any developments, a meeting will be convened at Prachachuen Police Station.

Apart from the family of Director Joe, doctors, the Department of Corrections, and all pertinent parties will be called in for questioning. The Deputy Director-General of the Department of Corrections has assured full cooperation with the investigation.

Forensic evidence, including towels and other materials found at the scene, is critical. The results from the forensic evidence division, which encompass medical results, evidence examination outcomes, CCTV footage, and testimonies from relevant witnesses, are being thoroughly examined.

Mr. Wirasak Nakin, Superintendent Joe's lawyer, indicated that the family of Superintendent Joe has decided to indefinitely postpone their appointment to provide a statement to investigators. This decision stems from their desire to complete funeral arrangements and await the results of the second autopsy from the Department of Forensic Medicine at Chulalongkorn Hospital.
