Mali Can Take It Easy After Cambodian Defense Spokesman Deceives the World Daily

Mali: Mali can take it easy after the Cambodian Defense Ministry's spokesman deceives the world daily, emphasizing that the path to peace can only be secured by starting with "truth."

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sasikarn Wattanachan, Deputy Government Spokesperson, revealed that she urged the Cambodian Ministry of Defense spokesperson to cease the continuous creation of fake news and distortion of facts to the public, and to cease the repeated use of false information to attack Thailand.

The latest example is a claim on social media that Thailand is preparing to evacuate residents in Surin Province in order to launch an attack on Cambodia ahead of a General Border Committee (GBC) meeting, which is completely untrue. There are currently no evacuation orders in the area.

This kind of false information not only misleads the public but also undermines Cambodia's own confidence in the international arena, and we urge you to stop doing so.

The Thai side remains committed to the ceasefire agreement strictly, but is prepared to deal with any unforeseen circumstances arising from repeated violations by Cambodia, with the continued movement of troops and equipment in the area.

"It is unfortunate that instead of working together to reduce tensions, Cambodia continues to use distorted information, undermining Cambodia's credibility on the international stage. All of Thailand's responses are based on facts. We are ready to disclose information to the public and international organizations at any time. We reaffirm that the path to peace can only be secure if it starts with the truth," Ms. Sasikarn said.
