“Lae” expressed his vision of wanting to see all groups of senators be equal.

Parliament, 'Lae' presents vision for the 1st Vice President of the Senate, wants to see all groups of senators equal, listen to the voices of the little people. The first Senate meeting, Mr. Lae Dilokwittayarat, a member of the Senate (Senator), gave his vision as a nominee for the position of the first Vice President of the Senate, stating that he was delighted to be selected to be a part of the honorable parliament. As the Senate is an institution in the political process of a democracy, it must emphasize freedom of diversity, equality, and universality. Therefore, the work of the Senate must uphold principles, both in terms of leadership and the conduct of its members. I would like to see the leaders of the parliament maintain the diversity of the composition, whether it is gender or sexual orientation, age or youth, cultural diversity, religion or ethnicity, in order to maintain the universality of democracy. In addition to the diversity at the organizational level, in order for this chamber to fully reflect a variety of perspectives, it is necessary to help filter laws for the lower house. I would like to see every voice of the members, whether they come from a large group, a small group, or no group, be given an equal opportunity to express themselves, including the problems of the small voiceless, such as the problems of labor, farmers, fishermen, and the disadvantaged, to be given no less importance than other problems to be considered in the Senate. Mr. Lae insisted that whether he is elected as the Vice President of the Senate or not, it will not change his commitment to working in this House. Source: Thai News Agency
