Prasat ta muen thom: "Kan Jom Phalang" has successfully completed the construction of a robust bunker at Prasat Ta Muen Thom.
According to Thai News Agency, the bunker, designed by Mr. Kanthas Pongpaiboonwet, also known as Kan Chom Phalang, is a testament to durability, built with concrete and reinforced with approximately a thousand tires. The structure is covered with soil to a height of three meters, ensuring its longevity for generations to come.
Kan Chom Phalang has announced plans to construct an additional five bunkers and is actively seeking donations of used tires for these projects. He demonstrated the interior of the newly completed bunker, highlighting its spacious design that allows individuals to walk upright without bending down.
Local villagers participated in a test of the bunker's capacity, which revealed that it could accommodate over 130 people, surpassing the initial estimate of 70. The residents who inspected the site praised the quality and strength of the construction, confirming its effectiveness as a protective structure.
