Bangkok: JOB EXPO THAILAND 2025 is set to commence from June 6 to 8, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, offering more than 600,000 job positions for workers of all ages. Mr. Karom Polpornklang, Deputy Government Spokesperson, announced that the event aims to provide career opportunities and stable income, as well as skill development, under the theme ‘Job Fair More Than Job Search.’
According to Thai News Agency, the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor, is organizing the expo to foster cooperation between public and private sectors. The event will feature over 500,000 domestic and more than 100,000 international job positions. It will also host 172 activities focusing on job creation, job matching, career knowledge enhancement, vocational training, and comprehensive support for job applications. The ‘SSO MARKET 2025’ will introduce a lifestyle area with fashion, food, art, entertainment, and workshops.
Mr. Karom emphasized that JOB EXPO THAILAND 2025 is not merely a job application venue but a platform to support labor missions benefiting both employers and employees. The Ministry of Labor, in collaboration with the Social Security Office, has allocated 20 billion baht to enhance business liquidity, offering loans up to 50 million baht per employer. Additionally, a 100 billion baht budget will provide small loans for insured individuals under Sections 33, 39, and 40, ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 baht, to facilitate part-time jobs and investments for long-term stability. The Ministry’s three main campaigns aim to stimulate the economy through collaborative efforts of the government, employers, and employees by organizing the expo, providing loans for liquidity, and supporting small career capital for employees.
