Indonesian Foreign Minister Condemns Israeli Aggression Against Qatar

Doha: Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiyono has condemned the Israeli aggression against Qatar, labeling it a flagrant violation of international law. He emphasized that such actions are unacceptable as they contravene the United Nations Charter and the principles of the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Sugiyono made these remarks during his speech at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha. He reiterated Indonesia's commitment to achieving peace in the Middle East and commended Qatar's efforts in promoting mediation. He expressed appreciation for Qatar's initiatives in fostering dialogue and resolution.

Sugiyono also extended Indonesia's condolences to the families affected by the aggression and wished for the speedy recovery of those injured. He affirmed Indonesia's full solidarity with Qatar during this challenging time. Furthermore, he called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to remain resolute in defending international law and to collaborate with member states within the framework of international legitimacy.
