Immigration Bureau Chief Vows Action Against Foreigners Over Medical Personnel Abuse in Pai

Pai: No way! Foreigners are causing problems for medical personnel in Pai. Immigration Bureau chief vows not to tolerate foreigners causing problems for medical personnel in Pai; licenses revoked, immediate deportation. According to Thai News Agency, today at 5:00 PM at the Immigration Bureau, Pol. Lt. Gen. Phanumas Boonlak, Commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, disclosed the case of an Israeli alien who caused a nuisance to medical personnel at Pai Hospital, Mae Hong Son Province. The extension of stay in the Kingdom has been revoked and all 4 cases have been deported.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Phanumas said that he had ordered the Mae Hong Son Immigration Bureau officers, together with Pai Police Station, to investigate and prosecute the case decisively. The results of the investigation found that 1. Mr. Daniel Gagaev, 2. Mr. Aviv Rom, 3. Mr. Or Emanoel Ashton, and 4. Mr. Dan Nisko Niskovskich had all confessed. Therefore, they were charged with 'jointly causing trouble to others, by bullying, threatening, or causing embarrassment, etc.' They were then taken to Pai Police Station to be fined and an order was issued to revoke the stay in the Kingdom of the 4 foreigners. They are currently awaiting deportation to their home countries.

The Immigration Bureau chief added that Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet, the national police chief, has emphasized that police officers must increase their strictness in enforcing the law against foreigners, and that foreigners who commit offenses and cause trouble for the people must be deported by the Immigration Bureau.
