Gunmen Open Fire at Samut Prakan Football Field, Leaving Two Dead and One Injured

Samut prakan: Audacious in the middle of a football field in Samut Prakan Province, two teenagers stormed in and shot their rivals, killing two and injuring one. Police are urgently hunting for the gunmen.

According to Thai News Agency, a surveillance camera in front of a company captured the chaos of people using the football field, and two men were seen running with guns and shooting at people who were running away inside. As a result of this incident, one person died at the scene, another died at the hospital, and one person was injured.

This incident occurred at a football field in Soi Thai Prakan, Soi 1/5, Theparak Road, Tambon Bang Sao Thong, Amphoe Bang Sao Thong, Samut Prakan Province. Bang Sao Thong Police Station, Samut Prakan Province, led a force to inspect the area in front of the football field and found two injured people. The first person was Mr. Prommin, 18 years old, who had multiple shotgun bullet wounds to the face and was in critical condition. The second person was Mr. Chaiwat, 20 years old, who had multiple shotgun bullet wounds to the chest and was in critical condition and unconscious. Rescue workers performed CPR before rushing him to the hospital, where he later died. At the entrance to the football field, they found a deceased male, Mr. Chanyamon, 18 years old, who had multiple shotgun bullet wounds to the chest, torso, and face.

At the scene, one bullet casing was found. Officers collected it as evidence. The perpetrator who used the gun was identified as Mr. Bo, 22 years old. After the incident, he escaped on his friend's motorcycle.

From the interrogation of Mr. Biew, the caretaker of the football field, he said that at the time of the incident, he was sitting and playing with his friends. He saw a group of three injured people riding a motorcycle together, saying that someone was chasing them to attack them. So he got up to go and looked and found the perpetrator following them and shouting at the injured people fiercely. He tried to stop them by telling them that they couldn't fight here, but the perpetrator didn't listen and tried to run to the other side. Suddenly, the perpetrator pulled out a gun and shot the injured people, who died before quickly fleeing.

Pol Maj Gen Wichit Boonchinwuttikul, Commander of Samut Prakan Provincial Police, said that for this case, the deceased and the perpetrator worked at the same place. There were two perpetrators, one of whom used a shotgun. The perpetrators are now known, so they are asked to surrender because they were carrying guns with them. If they do not, the authorities will not guarantee their safety. This case is not complicated. Initially, orders were given to the Bang Sao Thong Police Station Investigation Division, the Provincial Investigation Division, and the Regional Investigation Division to urgently track down the perpetrators for prosecution. It is expected that this will not take long.
