“Gun Jom Phalang” Aids Actress Kana in Legal Battle Against Alleged Impostor

Bangkok: "Gun Jom Phalang" has taken decisive action by accompanying young actress "Kana" to file a formal complaint against an individual accused of posing as a high-society figure. The authorities, particularly the cyber police, are actively engaged in this case, with plans to summon the alleged impostor for questioning once he recovers from injuries sustained in a building fall.

According to Thai News Agency, "Gun Jom Phalang" escorted Kana to the Central Investigation Bureau's complaint center, where they presented evidence and Kana provided a statement to initiate legal proceedings against the accused, referred to as Mr. Hot. The police will assess the evidence to determine applicable charges.

Kana expressed her determination to pursue legal action against Mr. Hot, who has reportedly not contacted her since the incident. Investigators plan to gather evidence and question witnesses to identify any criminal activities.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Trirong Phiwpaen, Commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD), disclosed that Mr. Thanathep, the alleged impostor, falsely claimed connections with TCSD to impress Kana's ex-boyfriend. Initial investigations revealed no financial fraud, but concerns were raised about misinformation shared via Line, potentially violating computer crime laws. A summons for Mr. Thanathep's appearance is expected tomorrow, though it hinges on his medical recovery.

The investigation also uncovered impersonations of high-profile figures, including Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra. The TCSD invites those concerned about potential impersonations to seek assistance from TCSD Division 1.
