Bangkok: The government invites the public to attend Asia's largest food and beverage trade fair, "THAIFEX - ANUGA ASIA 2025," with goals of enhancing Thai entrepreneurs' global market presence and anticipating over 98 billion baht in economic activity.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sasikarn Wattanachan, Deputy Government Spokesperson, announced that the event will be held from May 27-31, 2025, at Impact Muang Thong Thani. This initiative results from a collaboration between the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse from Germany.
The event is designed as a significant international platform for Thai entrepreneurs to highlight their capabilities in food products, technology, and innovation while engaging in business negotiations with partners worldwide. This year, the trade fair will feature exhibitors from 56 countries, amounting to over 6,205 booths, with expectations of attracting more than 90,000 visitors and generating over 98 billion baht in circulation.
Thailand's position as the world's 12th largest food exporter aligns with its target of achieving 1.75 trillion baht in food exports by 2025, marking a 6.8% increase from the previous year. This effort supports the "Thai Kitchen to the World Kitchen" policy, focusing on introducing innovative food and beverage products that cater to global consumer demands.
