Bangkok: GH Bank is celebrating its 72nd anniversary by launching a special low-interest home loan promotion.
According to Thai News Agency, the Government Housing Bank (GHB) is offering a campaign in honor of its 6th cycle of 72 years, providing customers with home loans at an attractive interest rate starting at just 0.72% per year.
The “GHB 72-Year Home Loan” campaign allows borrowers to secure loans with a total credit limit of 27 billion baht, covering all loan purposes. The interest rate for those who purchase life insurance to protect their loans (MRTA) is just 0.72% per year for the first 6 months. It then adjusts to 2.72% per year from months 7 to 24, and MRR-2.525% per year (3.72% per year) from years 3 to 6, averaging 2.72% per year for the first 3 years. From year 7 until the end of the contract, welfare customers can enjoy a rate of MRR-1.00% per year, while retail customers benefit from MRR-0.50% per year. For equipment purchases and debt repayments, the rate is set at MRR, with GH Bank’s MRR interest rate being 6.245% per year. The maximum repayment period is extended to 40 years, and for a loan of 1 million baht, repayments start at just 2,700 baht per month.
Interested borrowers have until October 15, 2025, to apply for the loan. The approval process and transaction must be completed by December 30, 2025. As an added incentive, primary borrowers will receive 100 GHB Reward and Privilege points, which can be redeemed for E-Vouchers at participating merchants, subject to conditions set by the bank.
