Chiang mai: GH Bank has joined efforts to award certificates to teachers and officers involved in water quality management, as part of a broader initiative to improve living standards in royal project areas nationwide. According to Thai News Agency, the Government Housing Bank (GHB), represented by Mr. Decha Prukpatanarak, Director-General of the Department of Skill Development and Chairman of the Good Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility Committee, along with Ms. Thidaporn Meekingthong, Deputy Managing Director, presented certificates to individuals who completed the Drinking Water Management System Development Project. This initiative, targeting schools and communities within Royal Initiative Projects and Royal Celebration Projects across the nation, aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and expertise of personnel responsible for managing drinking water quality. The project is a collaborative effort involving the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, the Department of Science Servi ce, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labor. Its goal is to ensure that drinking water in Border Patrol Police Schools meets national standards, thereby improving the quality of life for individuals in these areas. The initiative also includes the provision of water quality improvement kits with installation equipment to guarantee that the water meets required standards. In support of these efforts, GH Bank allocated a budget in 2025 for the installation of an automatic water filter system through the Skill Development Foundation. This project forms part of the bank's broader commitment to social and environmental responsibility, focusing on developing drinking water management systems in royal initiative and celebration project areas. The certificate presentation ceremony took place at the Skill Development Institute 19 in Chiang Mai, highlighting GH Bank's ongoing commitment to improving water quality and consumption standar ds across the country.
