Bang Bua Thong: A fire broke out in a house in Bang Bua Thong, resulting in a tragic incident where the homeowner died while trying to escape through a window but was trapped by iron bars.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred at a two-story house in Buathong Village 4, Soi 7, Village 5, Tambon Bang Khu Rat, Amphoe Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi Province. The deceased, identified as Mr. Chatchai, age 49, was a lawyer. His head was found protruding through the window bars, suggesting he was attempting to breathe and climb out but was impeded by the tight bars, leading to his death at the scene.

A neighbor who attempted to assist the survivors reported that the fire spread rapidly from the ground floor to the upper levels. At the time of the fire, Mr. Chatchai was on the upper floor. He tried to escape through a window but became trapped in the iron bars. Police Sergeant Urs, who was passing by, noticed the situation and attempted a rescue.
