Fire Breaks Out at Timber Factory in Bang Sue; Officials Rush to Rescue 3 Lives to Safety

Bangkok: A fire erupted at a timber factory located in Soi Pracharat Sai 1, Soi 23, Bang Sue District, Bangkok at 11:00 this morning. The Rama 199 Radio Center reported the incident, prompting swift action from officials. Upon arrival, responders were met with intense flames and heavy smoke. Firefighters from the Bang Pho Fire Station, along with rescue workers and local volunteers, immediately began efforts to extinguish the fire, despite challenges posed by the narrow alley and the dense timber stock at the site.

According to Thai News Agency, initial reports confirmed that three individuals were trapped inside the factory as the structure started to give way. Emergency crews acted promptly, successfully rescuing all three individuals. Firefighters strategically placed nozzles to contain the blaze within a confined area. Nevertheless, strong winds temporarily reignited the fire, which then spread to a nearby residence. By 11:46 a.m., officials managed to bring the situation under control, preventing further damage.
