Expedite Survey and Compensation for Damages from Border Clashes

Sisaket: All sectors are joining forces to urgently survey and provide relief for damages caused by the unrest on the Thai-Cambodian border in Sisaket Province, particularly in Sao Thong Chai Subdistrict, where nearly 200 homes were damaged. The unrest on the Thai-Cambodian border since July 24th has resulted in damage to many areas in Sisaket Province, particularly Sao Thong Chai and Bueng Malu subdistricts and nearby areas in Kantharalak District, including houses, animal pens, government offices, child development centers, schools, and subdistrict health promotion hospitals.

According to Thai News Agency, the provincial governor recently met with all sectors to expedite the survey of damage, particularly in Sao Thong Chai subdistrict, where nearly 200 houses were damaged. He requested assistance and funds for repairs, including donations from the private sector.
