Entertainment Complex Act Draft Yet to Reach Parliament for Consideration

Bangkok: 'Wan Nor' revealed today that the council has not yet considered the entertainment complex.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Wan Muhammad Noor Matha, the President of the House of Representatives, disclosed information regarding the draft bill on the entertainment complex business. He mentioned that between March 31 and April 2, he was on leave attending the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festival, which is why he was unaware of when the draft bill was submitted to the House. In his absence, Mr. Pichet Chueamuangphan, one of the Deputy Speakers of the House of Representatives, was in charge.

The draft bill on the entertainment complex business has been placed at the 15th order. However, due to its urgency, there are expectations that the Government Coalition Coordination Committee, also known as the Government Whip, might prioritize it for earlier consideration. Despite this, the draft bill could not be brought up for discussion today, as the procedural requirements demand that the content be submitted for preliminary consideration by the members first.

The expected date for the draft bill to be reviewed is as early as April 9. Meanwhile, today's agenda is focused on discussing an urgent motion concerning the recent earthquake.
