PATTAYA: An elderly woman died instantly after being struck by a sedan while crossing a road beneath a footbridge in Pattaya. The collision, captured on CCTV, shows the woman being hit and thrown over 20 meters by the vehicle, leading to her immediate death at the scene.

According to Thai News Agency, the victim, identified from visual evidence as a Thai woman aged between 40 and 50, was wearing a green shirt and black trousers at the time of the accident. The tragic incident occurred at noon in front of a well-known department store on Sukhumvit Road, in the Pattaya-bound direction, Nongprue Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chon Buri Province.
