EGAT Achieves High Score in ITA Assessment, Upholding Ethical and Transparent Operations

Bangkok: EGAT received a score of 96.61, a good score, from the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), reflecting its continued commitment to good governance, ethics, and transparency.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Pana Supawakul, Deputy Governor of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), in her capacity as head of the EGAT Anti-Corruption Operations Center, revealed that the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) announced the results of the assessment of ethics and transparency in the operations of government agencies (Integrity and Transparency Assessment: ITA) for fiscal year 2025, with EGAT receiving a score of 96.61, passing the good level.

ITA is an assessment conducted by both internal and external stakeholders and information disclosure on the website. It consists of 10 indicators: performance of duties, budget utilization, use of authority, use of government property, solving corruption problems, operational quality, communication efficiency, work improvement, information disclosure, and corruption prevention. The assessment results reflect the level of integrity and transparency of the agency.

For the year 2026, EGAT remains committed and ready to further improve its operations, particularly in operational quality and communication efficiency, building confidence and trust among external stakeholders. Furthermore, it will improve and enhance its operations to meet the needs of all sectors. This initiative aims to implement a concrete, trackable, and auditable EGAT action plan to promote good governance and prevent and combat corruption. This will ensure EGAT's operations are ethical and transparent, promote a positive image, and gain greater stakeholder acceptance.
