Nonthaburi: Ms. Kanokwan Jiwchueaphan, Commander of Nonthaburi Provincial Prison and Deputy Spokesperson of the Corrections Department, announced that Ms. Anchulee, also known as Dr. Air, was taken into custody by the Central Women's Correctional Institution on the evening of June 11. Dr. Air faces charges of colluding with two or more individuals to commit a serious drug offense and distributing Category 2 psychotropic substances, specifically Flunitrazepram.
According to Thai News Agency, following her detention, Dr. Air was subjected to COVID-19 quarantine procedures as part of the institution's measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. An initial health examination indicated normal results. Dr. Air has been cooperative during this phase, providing information without signs of stress or anxiety. She appeared composed, having prepared herself for imprisonment. Dr. Air chose not to apply for bail and inquired about how her relatives and legal representatives could visit her. She declined the evening meal, mentioning she had already eaten.
