DJ Man and Film Face Off in Court Over 14 Million Baht Mediation

Bangkok: DJ Man and Film appeared at the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road for a mediation session concerning a 14 million baht dispute related to the Forex-3D share case. The session follows accusations made by DJ Man, whose real name is Mr. Phatthanaphon Kunchar, against Mr. Ratthaphum Tokongsap, also known as Film, a renowned singer and actor. The court had previously postponed the examination to allow both parties to engage in discussions.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Phatthanaphon and his lawyer, Mr. Amorn Kuson, arrived at the court first. DJ Man expressed his openness to mediation, stating that he had a 'flag in his heart' about the process. He emphasized that his statements were truthful and expressed a willingness to engage in dialogue, despite not having any personal contact with the plaintiff.

The legal representatives have opted not to disclose detailed facts until the mediation concludes. Mr. Amorn remarked that the duration and outcome of the mediation depended on whether the parties could reach a mutual agreement. If an agreement could be reached, the case might not require further legal proceedings, but otherwise, it would proceed to witness examination.

This mediation session marked the first face-to-face meeting between DJ Man and Film since the lawsuit was filed. Mr. Phatthanaphon reiterated the truthfulness of his statements and indicated his readiness to go through the legal process. The two parties crossed paths as Mr. Ratthaphum arrived for his media interview, but DJ Man proceeded directly to the courtroom without interaction.

Mr. Ratthaphum clarified that he harbors no ill will towards DJ Man and is prepared to forgive if DJ Man admits guilt and apologizes. He stressed the importance of truth and expressed confidence in the evidence supporting his case. Although no new evidence or agreements emerged from the mediation, Mr. Ratthaphum maintained his composure, seeking a resolution based on understanding and factual accuracy.

The mediation represents the initial phase in attempting to resolve the dispute amicably, with both parties expressing their perspectives and intentions to find a suitable resolution.
