Deputy Prime Minister Thammanat’s Office Receives Buddha Images and Altar

Bangkok: The Buddha image was brought up to the office of Deputy Prime Minister Thammanat. Thammanat's working group brought a Buddha image into the Deputy Prime Minister's office at Government House.

According to Thai News Agency, this morning, a team led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Colonel Thammanat Prompao transported two vans from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to their office on the second floor of Command Building 1. They carried a large altar and various Buddha images, including the Phra Buddha Chinnarat Buddha image from Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, the Phra Buddha Si Sawan Buddha image, King Taksin, the head of Ganesha, and a portrait of Prince of Chumphon Khet Udomsak.

Officials are also preparing to clean the offices of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministers Attached to the Prime Minister's Office. This is in anticipation of the arrival of new ministers, who are expected to gradually move their belongings over the next two days before they are sworn in and commence their work.
