Nanning: From September 17 to 19, the 4th China-ASEAN Meteorological Cooperation Forum commenced in Nanning, Guangxi. The event saw the launch of the China-ASEAN Joint Innovation Action Initiative on Meteorological AI Model Applications.
According to Nam News Network, decision-makers, experts, and scholars from meteorological and hydrological departments of China and ASEAN countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, and Indonesia, participated in the forum. Representatives from the World Meteorological Organization, universities, enterprises, and research institutions also gathered to discuss regional meteorological cooperation and development.
