Chalermchai Sri-on Confirms No Indication of Cabinet Reshuffle from Prime Minister

Bangkok: Confirming that there is still no sign of a cabinet reshuffle, Mr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and leader of the Democrat Party, addressed recent rumors. He stated that the Pheu Thai Party has not communicated any signals regarding a reshuffle, and he has only encountered speculative news without any concrete developments.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chalermchai responded to inquiries about whether the Democrat Party would seek to adjust ministerial positions if a reshuffle was signaled. He emphasized that the authority to initiate a cabinet reshuffle lies with the prime minister. He mentioned that the Democrat Party has not been approached by the prime minister on this matter. Should there be any official coordination, discussions would likely occur within the party.

When questioned about any signals sent to the Democrat Party over the past months amidst reshuffle rumors, Mr. Chalermchai reiterated that there had been no contact regarding the issue. He further clarified that no proposals for changes in ministers or ministries have been made by the Democrat Party, as such actions would require a prior signal from the Prime Minister.
