Chachoengsao Residents Alarmed by Nighttime Drone Activity

Chachoengsao: Residents in Chachoengsao are expressing concern after observing drones flying around for two consecutive nights and are urging relevant agencies to investigate the matter.

According to Thai News Agency, drones were spotted in various districts of Chachoengsao, causing unease among the local population. In the Ban Khlong Luang Phaeng area, locals reported seeing four or five drones circling the city. These drones seemed to originate from border districts, eventually making their way into the city and crossing over to Lam Phak Chi in Nong Chok District, Bangkok.

The drones were noted to hover for approximately half an hour before disappearing, only to return later. This activity is particularly alarming for residents as there is an existing ban on all drones, including agricultural ones, which the local populace has been adhering to. The presence of these drones at night raises concerns about their ownership and purpose.

Furthermore, the night before, additional drone activity was reported along Suwinthawong Road, where two or three drones were observed before disappearing around 11:30 PM. Residents are urging authorities to look into these incidents, as they find the situation unusual and suspect that these drones may not be Thai-owned, given the strict adherence to official orders in the area.
