Entering the sixth day of clashes on the Thai-Cambodian border in Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, the sound of cannons ceased after midnight. Residents at the refugee center began to feel homesick and wanted negotiations to find a quick solution. The Ubon Ratchathani governor confirmed that rumors of cannons at Chong Bok and unidentified drones flying into the inner area were untrue.

According to Thai News Agency, this morning in Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, after midnight, there were no sounds of cannon fire in the area. The atmosphere remained calm throughout the morning, as the district authorities have not yet allowed evacuees to return to the area. Only community leaders and other relevant personnel remain stationed in the area to maintain security and await orders from the government and the military.

At an evacuation center in Ubon Ratchathani Province, most residents are continuing their normal lives and strictly adhering to the center's regulations. This includes notifying officials of daily departures and checks. Over the past six days, the center has provided assistance and provided three meals a day. Some are beginning to adjust, having been there for several days. They are also following the military's negotiations to determine the outcome, as they are concerned about their property and income. Meanwhile, public and private sectors are continuously delivering supplies to evacuees at various centers in the area.

Lieutenant Colonel Adisak Noisuwan, Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, confirmed that reports of artillery fire in the Chong Bok area of Nam Yuen District this morning and unidentified drones flying into the province's inner areas were untrue.

The Ubon Ratchathani governor confirmed that after midnight, the sound of cannon fire had ceased and the situation in the area returned to normal. He urged the local population to follow reliable official news. Regarding the return to the area, he awaited official announcements from the government and the military to ensure the safety of the people and their property. He added that the rear areas of Ubon Ratchathani Province would be provided with the utmost care.
