Bangkok: The Cabinet encourages the Prime Minister, requesting good news on August 29. Paethongtarn hopes to return to work.
According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at the recent Cabinet meeting was supportive. Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, attended the meeting via video conference for the first time. She participated throughout, appearing in good spirits.
During the session, key topics were discussed, including the review of students from the National Defense College (NDC) Class 69 for the academic year 2026. Ms. Paethongtarn, a former student of the National Defense College for Future Executives (NDCC) or Mini NDCC, engaged with the discussion by asking questions and sharing her views on some of the students.
Before concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Acting Prime Minister and Chairman of the meeting, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, conveyed the collective encouragement of all ministers to the Prime Minister, hoping for good news on August 29th. Civil servants present also extended their support to the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the encouragement and expressed a desire to return to work soon. The session ended with applause from the meeting attendees as they showed their support.
