Cabinet Convenes Special Meeting to Approve Government Policy Draft

Bangkok: Cabinet Secretary Natthajaree Anantasin has disclosed that the Cabinet convened a special meeting to prepare for the approval of a draft government policy statement, which will be presented to Parliament. The meeting also focused on the appointment of political officials, including the Secretary to the Prime Minister.

According to Thai News Agency, the special Cabinet meeting is set to precede the first regular Cabinet meeting, which will occur after the policy statement is delivered to Parliament. The agenda of today's meeting primarily included approving the draft government policy statement for submission to Parliament. Additionally, the meeting considered the appointment of political officials, with particular attention to the role of Secretary to the Prime Minister.

In response to inquiries about potential work divisions between the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, Ms. Natthajaree stated that she had not yet been informed and had not reviewed the document.
