Big Tae Aims for Thai Women’s Futsal Team to Reach Futsal World Cup Finals

Bangkok: "Big Tae" Kritsada Sajjakul, team manager, has expressed his ambition for the Thai women's futsal team to advance to the deepest round of the Futsal World Cup. His aspirations include guiding the team to the final round of the World Championship, with hopes of progressing as far as possible.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Kritsada Sajjakul, who manages the Thai women's futsal team, recently discussed his plans in an interview on the 9th stadium program. The team, known as "Chaba Kaew Futsal," is preparing for the 2025 Futsal World Cup, scheduled to be held in the Philippines from November 21 to December 7. This will be the first time the tournament takes place in the Philippines.

Mr. Kritsada mentioned that the players will have a one-week rest period before returning to training on May 28. Following this, they will participate in the Futsal Thai League competition to maintain their fitness levels. There are also plans for an international training camp before the tournament begins to provide the athletes with valuable experience. However, securing a budget for these preparations is essential to ensure that the investment is worthwhile. The team's goal is to progress as far as possible in the competition.

The 2025 Women's Futsal World Cup Finals will feature 16 teams, including the host nation Philippines. Other participating teams include Japan, Thailand, and Iran from Asia; Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Poland from Europe; Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia from South America; Morocco and Tanzania from Africa; Canada and Panama from CONCACAF; and New Zealand from Oceania.
