According to Thai News Agency, the game saw BG Pathum United take the lead in the 16th minute when Marco Ballini, a defender for BG, scored the opening goal. The visitors extended their lead just before halftime as Ilhan Fandi found the back of the net in the 45+2 minute, putting BG Pathum ahead 2-0. Nakhon Ratchasima Mazda FC attempted a comeback in the second half, with Denis Murillo scoring from a free kick in the 63rd minute to narrow the deficit to 2-1. However, BG Pathum United sealed their victory in the 81st minute when Ranil Santana scored from a penalty kick, making the final score 3-1. In other FA Cup matches, Sukhothai FC was defeated by Muangthong United with a score of 2-5, while Ratchaburi FC secured a decisive 7-1 win ove r Phrae United.
