Verona: The highly anticipated ‘Amazing MuayThai World Festival 2025’ is set to take place in Verona, Italy, from June 25-29, 2025, promising an unforgettable celebration of Muay Thai culture, competition, and community. Organised in collaboration with WBC MuayThai, the festival will feature a wide range of activities, including youth competitions, show-off competitions, and elite, B-Class, and C-Class adult competitions, attracting Muay Thai fighters and enthusiasts from around the world.
According to Thai News Agency, at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangrit Benjatikul Chaiyrungruang, Member of the House of Representatives, joined in congratulating the success and awarding scholarships to students of Bangkokthonburi University (BTU). The scholarship recipients, Mr. Anulak Chansuk, or Sittichai Sitsongpi Nong, a Master’s degree student in the Faculty of Political Science, and Mr. Thanet Nituthorn, or Thananchai Sitsongpi Nong, a Bachelor’s degree student in the same faculty, have been recognized for their achievements. This moment marks a significant milestone for the Thai boxing industry.
Bangkokthonburi University (BTU) has taken a significant step by granting scholarships to support the development of a complete educational ecosystem for Muay Thai. The scholarships aim to cultivate not only fighting skills but also business management and international marketing expertise. Recipients will have the opportunity to learn from local and international experts and gain real-world experience through internships with international organizations, participation in large-scale Muay Thai events, and academic exchanges with educational institutions abroad.
