Bangkok: 'Bangkok' has clinched the title of the world's dream city, emerging as a top destination favored by Digital Nomads.
According to Thai News Agency, this recognition highlights Bangkok's dual appeal as a hub for work and leisure, particularly catering to the Digital Nomads group by 2025. In an impressive showing, Korat has also secured the 5th spot globally.
Ms. Sasikarn Wattanachan, Deputy Government Spokesperson, disclosed that the HotelWithTub website conducted a comprehensive survey and ranking of 100 popular destinations for Digital Nomads-individuals who utilize digital technology to work from anywhere. Bangkok triumphed as the 'Most Popular Destination for Digital Nomads in 2025,' signifying the city's potential and allure as a global center for modern remote workers. Additionally, Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), another significant Thai city, achieved the 5th position in the ranking.
The evaluation encompassed data from over 1,300 cities worldwide, focusing on key factors like cost of living, quality of life, safety, and social media popularity. Bangkok achieved an overall score of 91 out of 100, earning the highest satisfaction rating of 4.55 out of 5 from Digital Nomads.
Bangkok's appeal lies in its comprehensive charm, affordable living costs, efficient transportation, reliable internet, and vibrant culture. Its work environment stands out with numerous co-working spaces ranging from luxurious buildings to serene garden cafes.
