Bangkok: Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited has achieved a significant milestone by securing the 17th position among the 500 companies with the highest revenue in Southeast Asia. This represents a remarkable climb from the 24th position in 2024 on the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list for 2025, highlighting its steady growth on an international scale.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Chief Executive Officer of Bangchak Group and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, expressed pride in the company's progress. Bangchak's sales growth of 47% was the highest among the Top 20 companies, reflecting the collective commitment of its employees towards achieving quality and sustainable growth. This achievement not only underscores the efficiency of its business operations but also enhances its credibility and opportunities for international partnerships, showcasing Bangchak's potential as a prominent Thai company on the global stage.
In addition to its overall ranking, Bangchak has improved its position among Thai companies, ranking 4th out of 100, and within the energy sector in Southeast Asia, ranking 6th out of 60. The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list, in its second year, ranks the largest companies by revenue across seven countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia. The companies on this year's list have a combined revenue of 1.82 trillion US dollars, marking a 1.7 percent increase from the previous year. The energy sector remains the largest industry group, accounting for nearly one-third of the total revenue, underscoring its crucial role in driving the regional economy.
