Art Phasut Organizes Free Shuttle Services for Mourners at Grand Palace

Bangkok: Art Phasut concluded his first day of missions, leading a team to arrange free shuttle services for the public, revealing that he had to re-plan everything. He has led a team of volunteers providing transportation services for the public since 2016, when His Majesty King Rama IX passed away.

According to Thai News Agency, the volunteer actor Art Phasut, upon learning of the news that Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother had passed away, immediately gathered a team of volunteers to provide transportation services for the public again. This initiative was to facilitate those who came to pay their respects to the royal remains. Yesterday, the Bureau of the Royal Household announced that the general public could pay their respects to the royal urn in front of the royal portrait at the Sahathai Samakhom Pavilion in the Grand Palace. People also lined the roadsides of Sanam Luang to join the procession of the royal urn.
