Lat Lum Kaeo: A brutal gunman clad in a rider’s uniform has been apprehended after a violent shooting spree that left two people dead. The gunman initially opened fire on a group of teenagers gathered in front of a house in Rahaeng Subdistrict, Lat Lum Kaeo District, resulting in two injuries. The victims were transported to a hospital by their friends, but the assailant pursued them on a motorcycle and fired again, leading to the deaths of the two injured individuals in the back of a pickup truck.
According to Thai News Agency, the authorities have identified the shooter as Mr. Somyot, aged 32. He was found with the firearm and ammunition used in the attack. Mr. Somyot confessed that his target was Mr. Mana, also known as Ice, aged 33. He admitted to having consumed beer prior to the incident and claimed his actions stemmed from discovering that Mr. Mana was involved in an affair with his wife.
Following the shooting, Mr. Somyot fled to Samut Prakan Province. The police are continuing their investigation a
nd are in search of additional evidence related to the incident.
