Anutin Offers Support to South Korea in Tackling Scammers

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently had a phone conversation with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung to discuss collaborative efforts in addressing scam-related issues in Cambodia. The discussion took place during Anutin's visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Traisulee Traisaranakul, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, shared a photo depicting the telephone conversation between Anutin and President Lee. During the call, President Lee expressed South Korea's willingness to cooperate in resolving the scammer problem in Cambodia, highlighting the importance of the issue to both nations.

The conversation also touched upon South Korea's interest in investing in Thailand. Anutin conveyed Thailand's readiness to work collaboratively with South Korea, not only in combatting scams but also in fostering economic investments, thereby strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries.
