Bangkok: "Anutin" accompanied the Prime Minister to Thai Khu Fah Building following a Cabinet meeting, where it was revealed that the Prime Minister has planned to engage with coalition parties after the meeting to discuss the 2016 budget.
According to Thai News Agency, after the cabinet meeting, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, descended from Building 1 alongside Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The Prime Minister humorously commented to reporters about experiencing a headache since the morning due to their presence, before proceeding to Thai Khu Fah Building with Mr. Anutin.
Mr. Anutin later disclosed that the Prime Minister had already arranged to convene with coalition party leaders post-cabinet meeting to deliberate on the draft of the 2026 fiscal budget bill. This bill is scheduled for its first reading in the House of Representatives on May 28, and all parties have indicated readiness to support it. Should any issues arise, detailed clarifications will be provided by the relevant overseeing party.
Regarding concerns about the political climate, Mr. Anutin stated that the Prime Minister was not worried, describing the atmosphere as positive. He mentioned the Prime Minister's upcoming one-week international trip, which prompted him to accompany the Prime Minister to Thai Khu Fah Building, ensuring everything was in order as requested by the Prime Minister.
