Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul expressed gratitude for the support he received after being elected as Thailand’s 32nd Prime Minister, emphasizing his commitment to addressing the country’s challenges with increased vigor. Before leaving Parliament, he made a point to visit his father to pay his respects.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin, who is also a party-list MP and the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, acknowledged the limited time he has in office and pledged to give his best effort every day without taking any breaks. He stressed the importance of working diligently to tackle the existing issues facing the nation.
Anutin extended his thanks to the People’s Party and all his supporters. He assured foreign reporters that Thailand is committed to progressing in the right direction with appropriate actions. When questioned about the composition of his cabinet, he urged patience, noting that preparations are already in place.
Before returning to Parliament to participate in a vote, Anutin mentioned his intention to visit his ailing father. Despite the media frenzy surrounding him, he demonstrated his gratitude by waving to reporters and offering a traditional wai before departing in his personal Rolls-Royce, bearing the license plate Wor 3333 Bangkok.
