Anutin Charnvirakul Reunites with Childhood Nanny During Visit to Sisaket

Sisaket: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul made a heartfelt visit to Sisaket Province, where he reunited with his childhood nanny, Mrs. Pheng Omchomphu, after more than three decades. During his visit to Rai Sang Fan Garden in the Sri Kaeo Subdistrict of the Sri Rattana District, Anutin engaged with local durian farmers to discuss crucial issues such as electricity, water, and land management, along with proposals for sustainable development.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin's arrival was marked by a warm welcome from locals, who presented him with a purple silk fabric adorned with a Dok Kaew pattern, a handwoven OTOP product of the region, which they tied around his waist. The reunion with Mrs. Pheng was a touching moment, as the two embraced and exchanged greetings. Mrs. Pheng expressed her happiness that Anutin still remembered her fondly. She recalled how he was easy to raise, polite, and not aggressive, sharing anecdotes of him enjoying simple meals like fried eggs. Anutin also shared a photo from his youth, prompting playful comments from onlookers about his charm and handsomeness.

On stage, Anutin reminisced about Mrs. Pheng's care during his childhood, mentioning how she had been involved in his life since grade 3. He humorously recounted an incident where Mrs. Pheng was punished for teasing his younger sister, highlighting the close bond they shared.
