Anutin Charnvirakul Dismisses Prospects of Bhumjaithai Rejoining Government Amid Political Speculation

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, addressed the current political situation, stating that the former prime minister remains in position and refusing to comment on the prospects of a new prime minister. Anutin firmly denied that any new political equation would bring the Bhumjaithai Party back into government.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin questioned the meaning behind the proposed new political equation and whether it implies equality, emphasizing that Bhumjaithai holds only 70 seats. He dismissed suggestions that the party could rejoin the government under a new prime minister, stating that discussions about a new prime minister are premature as the former prime minister is still in office.

Anutin emphasized that there is no personal conflict between his party and the government, highlighting that both entities are focused on fulfilling their respective roles. He stressed the importance of maintaining peace in the country by ensuring that everyone remains dedicated to their duties, and reiterated that personal issues are not a priority for the Bhumjaithai Party.
