Bangkok: Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul expressed his confidence in addressing the upcoming no-confidence debate, assuring that he is prepared to explain all concerns, including issues related to electricity cuts to Myanmar, Khao Kradong, and Alpine land. Anutin, who also leads the Bhumjaithai Party, made these remarks during a media interaction after attending a birthday event for Suwat Liptapanlop, leader of the Chart Pattana Party and former deputy prime minister.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin has served as a minister since 2019 and is in his sixth year in office. He emphasized that facing a censure motion is a legitimate action by the opposition, allowing the government an opportunity to clarify its position. Anutin expressed confidence in his ability to provide satisfactory explanations for all cases, stressing that honest conduct allows for transparency and trust, as evidenced by previous years.
In response to inquiries about the opposition's potential to destabilize coalition parties with their information, Anutin reiterated his confidence in his ability to respond effectively. He assured that he expects to retain the trust of the coalition parties throughout the process.
